On-going project with Tey Sevilleno, Artfull Gallery, and Virlanie Faith Inc. from October 2022 until 2023

“Art is powerful. Art is therapy. Art is a safe space for vulnerable children and youth to express themselves freely and process their emotions- allowing them to communicate without words. Art helps build self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment – something especially valuable for children who may not have had many positive experiences in their lives.

With this appreciation for the healing qualities of Art, we have come to love Tey Sevilleno’s Art Workshops even more. This weekly activity has truly provided our beneficiaries a wonderful respite from their daily hardships- a time to relax and just be themselves.

Our profound thanks, now and always, Teacher Tey!”

From RECOP

“RECOP (Rural Educational and Cultural Outreach Program) based in PeacePond in a small Philippine town is fortunate to consider Tey Sevilleno as its Art Advocate. She has conducted 3 Watercolor Workshops for around 65 indigent students, most of them from tribal communities. She has selflessly waived her Teacher’s fee for these workshops and donated art materials for her students. It is her vibrantly warm teaching style which stimulates her students to open their senses to the world of watercolor.”
