Why I make mini artworks? I always get asked. Because why not, right? You don’t have to own a big mural or gigantic piece. I know of a client who has always bought small artworks from different artists. I have seen his collection and it is massive!

I also want to encourage those who would like to see art in their homes or office tables that they too can collect their art pieces. Start your own art collection.
Art always multiplies in value over time. And that, you get to enjoy every single piece that you own. Personally, I cannot live in a home without artworks. I just got used to it.

I love doing monochromes and it has been my habit of doing paintings every single day. Did you know that you can paint a painting with just one color in watercolors? YES! You can do this because watercolors do not need black or white paint to make it in darker or lighter tones. So easy.

These small paintings are my ‘happy friends’ and they help me de-stress when I need it. They are easy to make and it doesn’t pressure you to be elaborate. But well, I also get carried away when I do one. I sometimes end up doing 10 or more small paintings in a single session.

May it be small paintings, and by small we mean 3 inches by 3 inches or 3.5 inches x 5 inches, each of these mini paintings is unique and created with the highest quality of materials just like we do in bigger paintings.

Same with mini-mosaics, I have done them in as small as 3 inches by 3 inches or 3 inches by 4 inches. Take note, they have frames of their own. I used frames with magnets so you can stick them on to your ref.

You don’t have to be a fine arts major or someone with the “eye” to appreciate art. Go with how you feel when you see it. If you like it, then that is for you.

Hope to see you in one of our art shows or popup art fairs.
